I thought Bama would get Nibblett as well, but he wanted an on-field position and those aren't something a HS head coach jumps into with Saban

This Prince (Isaiah) situation screams of the parents still not totally sure, and having a coach who just won the NC in your ear telling you there's already a spot
Bama is trying to crunch numbers something fierce right now
The 4 wanting 1 spot I believe could be CeCe, Hill, maybe Chidi, and possibly Godwin
On Mel's hire, it is a huge upgrade to the COACHING aspect of staff, I love Kirby to death (no homo) but he is a lot better at LB coaching, and Mel has been a hands on D coach for the last few years at the highest level of football. Tosh replacing Lance is at least a wash in recruiting and he's been a great asset to every staff in terms of coaching that he's been on thus far
Could Bama flip Richmond, Godwin, and end with Charlot and CeCe to close out this class?

how many on field assistants are we allowed to have? kiffin qbs and OC, williams TEs and ST, burns RBs, napier WRs,Christobal OL, davis DL ,smart ILB and DC,lupoi OLB, tucker DBs. thats 9. i thought they were supposed to be adding another on field slot for ncaa, did that never pan out? also, you would think the WR coach and the OL coach could platoon the TEs, not have to have bobby friggin williams wasting a spot (does he even recruit?). why not make him some off the field position so he can get his pension or whatever and then go away?

I love your confidence, but this supposition is so full of homerism it's hard to comprehend. We'd all love to close that strongly, but to get ONE of Godwin, Richmond, or CeCe would be amazing. I doubt there's a sole alive that thinks there's even a 25% chance at all three.
