I'm ok with any athletes getting fresh starts at whatever school will take them. at least 50-75% of the kids at most D1 schools are not your average law abiding citizens anyway. All coaches take chances on kids like this because it's the profession they live in; win in a year or two or be fired. I know Saban isn't worried about getting canned so he probably believes he can help the kid. I have no real skin in the game since I went to South and Cal but I am a lifelong fan of my dad's alma mater and I'm ok with it.
