Alabama commit Deionte Thompson had a huge night on Friday, helping his Orange (Texas) West Orange-Stark team to a 54-21 win over Hamshire-Fannett (Texas). Thompson wanted to make a statement on his senior night and certainly did that, catching 6 balls for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also added 5 tackles on defense. The East Texas standout scored on catches of 43, 68, 21, and 75 yards.

West Orange-Stark improves to 7-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Sour Lake (Texas) Hardin-Jefferson next week.

Thompson, who recently became a 247Sports Composite 5-star prospect, signed a financial aid agreement with Alabama in September. He was the first commitment in the Tide's 2015 class. The early enrollee plans to return to Tuscaloosa in November for the Tide's game against Mississippi State.
