Spann should apologize every day for the rest of the year. That smug a-hole was calling some people idiots on Monday night that wanted schools closed on Tuesday. I'm fine with a meteorologist missing a forecast, it happens. But get off your Holier than thou soapbox and lose the god complex.

Too many people love the guy.
Now, we're stuck. the next remote chances of snow, every school system in the state will preemptively shut down for the foreseeable future. Then you'll have thousands of pissed off parents scrambling to take care of their kids on sunny and 45 degree days. Not to mention, we'll have so many of these cry wolf days, the kids will have to make up school on Saturdays, etc. Enter angry parents again. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
