James Spann is way above this, but he could have any 30+ year old woman in Alabama, even if the forecast was woefully off.

That's actually very well written. He takes complete ownership of the mess.

There may be others, but he's the first one I've seen own it. I've seen several others deflecting blame...

Also, a great big thank you needs to be sent out to all the public works employees around the state.

These folks have families and the same concerns as all the rest of us and they're also typically the lowest paid on the roster but they've been out busting their asses all week.
