I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with this place. I used to be a member at L.A., but I stopped when I took a temporary traveling job and just let my membership run out. I was excited to see that a much cheaper alternative was opening up close by, but upon internet review, I am SERIOUSLY second-guessing this place.

So, if you've ever gone, is that Lunk alarm shite real? And do any of them have any free-weights other than dumbells? It seems to me like pansyland.

Wanna say I saw some thread here bashing the hell out of it and that they lack decent equipment.

I just use the neighborhood gym but if I had to choose one I'd go lifetime cause, dude, that place is the shite

Don't they like let you walk in and like check the place out and like see the equipment and like find out if there are like any free weights other than like dumbells?

Which LA Fit, lemme guess... Ansley Mall?

Not a good place if you are serious about your weight lifting. Mostly just machines and they do not like you to do stuff like dead lifts. Lot of scumbags working out their beauty muscles and neglecting everything else.
If you just want to be fit though it might be good just not for serious lifters.Hope this helped.

Yall ever soaped up in the showers after a long hard sweaty workout at LA Fitness, and let that hot water cascade over your quivering taut muscles?

I don't go to LA fitness. I go to a power lifting gym that smells like sweat and feet. We also prefer to lather each other up before we let the water cascade over our quivering muscles.

Negative. Never even heard of Ansley Mall. I went to the Conyers location. And the reason I posted is because the new Planet Fitness isn't open yet, so if y'all's reviews were negative, it would confirm what I already thought and save me a bit of time.

Aren't they one of those 24hr unmanaged gyms(meaning noone is there)?? You pay the membership fee and swipe in and out as you please? They only have dumbells to lower risk of liability issue i. e. some dumbass working out by himself and dropping weights on himself.

It is pansyland. But the commercials make me giggle...although I'm not sure why it's okay to make fun of bodybuilders and no longer okay to make fun of fatties.
