Bottom third in SEC recruiting. By all services.
The fact that we have a chance to finish around 25ish if we close strong speaks a lot to Bielema's recruiting. Maybe you don't think it does, but going 3-9 and still getting guys that Petrino could never have hoped to get even in 11 and 10 win seasons tells me that once we start winning we're going to have some kickass classes

You're right, my bad. BB will certainly take us to BCS bowls and SEC titles, don't mind the 9 game SEC losing streak that's not his fault.

.... except that much of it really wasn't his fault

Agreed. If just a few of our fake punts would have worked we might have been bowl eligble.

Is it his fault we had to play walk on LBs this season?
Is it his fault we don't have a competent QB worth a shite?
Is it his fault the secondary learned in another system coverage is overrated?
Is it his fault the attrition from the last four years was 26 players, the equivalent to an entire recruiting class?
Did you even realize we don't have even 80 scholarship players going into this season, and that's after he gave walk ons scholarships?

Why so mad? You guys convinced me earlier when you said it's not even signing day. BB is the man to take us to the top.

Didn't FSU run a fake punt in the national title game?

No, but if Petrino hadn't left Sun Belt level talent we may have gone to a bowl

It's not our fault you can't see past one year

bielema has never had to do this before. He took over a wisconsin program that had been built and sharpened by Alvarez and really did a great job sustaining the success Alvarez had created. He's never been a head coach anywhere else.
I think he's a good coach and arkie has a great staff, but he ain't in the big ten anymore, profiting from tattoogate and jerry sandusky/PSU to make it to three rose bowls.

3/ 10. We will have a decent OL and running game, have some 8 or 9 win seasons, but we will never compete at the top tier like we did under my boy Bobby Petrino. Hopefully one day we get him back like Louisville did.
Bobby is a good coach but omg get out with your creepy affection for him. Nothing makes me laugh more than you guys who can't quit the love for our ex coaches. As if there's only one person who can do a good job here.

If he can get some top 20 classes into Fayetteville, we will be just fine.
Unfortunately, it may take better than that. As an example close to my own loyalties (except for the two years when coaches were headed out the door and not recruiting) Ole Miss's average recruiting ranking over the past ten years is 18.5 (247Sports). What I just saw on 247 is that Ole Miss is currently ranked 12th nationally, but that is in the bottom half of the conference. Rankings aren't everything, of course, but, on that metric, top 20 is aiming too low to be a contender for the conference championship.

We've been to Atlanta 3 times. We've never been some recruiting power.
It takes a couple stars and a solid defense.
Actually, I'd say it takes good Oline play, one legit threat at RB and a solid defense.

Seriously? How many Buckeyes could there possibly be from Escatawapa?

Realistically there isn't that much of a difference between 12 and 20. Just a 16 point gap on 247. However there is a 20 point gap between #12 and #13.
Consistent top 10 classes are where the championships are won.

Yep because the quality depth they build those teams can withstand injuries.
Teams who don't have the depth can have a special year every 2 or 3 if they get lucky health wise.
