Report: Jacob Coker commits to Alabama

Alabama may have lost a commitment this weekend from a five-star 2015 quarterback, but they, as expected, gained one from a player at the position who could help them immediately.

According to a report from BamaOnline.com, Jacob Coker committed to the Tide this weekend. Coker informed head coach Nick Saban of his decision Saturday, the website reported.

Coker also met with Lane Kiffin, with the website writing that the redshirt sophomore was “very impressed” with the new UA offensive coordinator. In a sign of his level of commitment to and comfortability with the Tide, Coker stated that he will take no additional visits to other schools.

Really wanna see what Kiffin can do with Coker.

The Spring will be interesting though, they know Coker is coming, so they'll up their game. Will be interesting to see who, if anyone, gets eliminated from the race. Sims, unless he has some shitastic Spring, will probably not be. Cornwell may be likely no matter how good he plays, since Saban doesn't play true freshmen at QB. Bateman, McLeod, and Morris. I think one of that trio may end up playing themselves out of it. If I'm one of them, don't try to do too much to impress Saban, just do exactly what you should.
