Moms going to Vegas in 2 weeks found out about it yesterday
She works for the VA and has to go to a big yearly budget spending meeting being held in..............wait for it..................

How cool is that? Supposedly there are a couple new "inventions" in the medical field she will get to oversee and test out validity on and then if they get approved they will roll out in the VA hospitals that are tabbed nationwide.
She is getting to stay at The Mirage and apparently it is one of the only hotels whose shuttle runs to the airstrip that flies you out to Area 51. You gotta fly a damn plane just to get out to it

No it is just a long dusty drive into the middle of BFE. It's just quicker and more convenient to fly in.

That's pretty cool. And I'm jealous she gets to stay on the strip. We had to stay about 15 miles away where the casino is full of nothing but senior citizens with the exception being our group.
However, because the casino was dead, I finally learned how to play craps.
