It's way overdue. I have no idea where they'd build a new one though. Possibly on the south side of the Architecture school where there's all those run down buildings/parking lots? Tear down Lockett & reconfigure that area?
I think the fact that libraries are becoming so obsolete (ebsco, the internet in general) is why we haven't stressed building a new library. I came across a list of projects we have over the next five years and it sounded ambitious, but there was no middleton on it. They should demolish the bitch and make a huge study hall equipped with ADEQUATE COMPUTER CHARGERS... move the books into the old library.
I would fap for years if they took down Lockett and reconfigured a grand library there. It's already such a beautiful area, minus Lockett

I agree, the only reason I go to the library is to study or do a quick print.
1. Blow up outdated Middleton Library(Red X)
2. Tear down Lockett & build a library that matches the design of our campus (lower yellow box). Replace faculty parking that's above & to the right of the new library with green-space/sidewalks.
3. Build an addition on the backside of Hill Memorial Library (upper yellow box) & place a shite ton of books in there so we could have more study space in the new library
