It's way overdue. I have no idea where they'd build a new one though. Possibly on the south side of the Architecture school where there's all those run down buildings/parking lots? Tear down Lockett & reconfigure that area?

I think the fact that libraries are becoming so obsolete (ebsco, the internet in general) is why we haven't stressed building a new library. I came across a list of projects we have over the next five years and it sounded ambitious, but there was no middleton on it. They should demolish the bitch and make a huge study hall equipped with ADEQUATE COMPUTER CHARGERS... move the books into the old library.

I would fap for years if they took down Lockett and reconfigured a grand library there. It's already such a beautiful area, minus Lockett

Locket, Middleton and the science buildings behind the union need to go (Tureaud should also probably go). I don't know who was in charge of new buildings at LSU in the late 50's through the early 70's but they are responsible for every eyesore on campus
