I haven't seen anyone say this. We certainly will have a better defense than we have had though.

I think some of the comments under the articles on AJC and SDS might lead one to assume, based upon certain comments, that there are a few overzealous UGA fans out there claiming Pruitt will sign FSU-style DBs and elevate UGA into a National Championship caliber defense. Who can blame them for hoping for that, honestly?
Who knows how Pruitt is going to work-out. He seems like a very safe hire IMHO.

Meh. He's probably a decent hire for them: he worked under Saban at Bama as a DB position coach, and got a 1-year job (now) as FSU's DC. FSU played a schedule of nobodies this season - much like they did last season - and of course their defense was stellar. But anything coming out of the ACC having to do with "defense", I'll always be skeptical of.

I would say we had a national championship caliber defense last season, and if Grantham can do that, Pruitt certainly can. I like you so im not arguing with you, just my opinion.

Yeah after a month to prepare that High and Mighty FSU Defense really put the brakes. On an Auburn team I think we can all agree was getting by on piss, vinegar and a whole lotta luck that they def. deserved.
Lateral Move at best, we heard all the same shite when they got that last moron. Anybody wanna weigh in on Richt lured him to UGA with the opportunity of Coach in Waiting or was UGA money that much better than FSU? I'm really asking and not being a dick by the way.
