Exactly.

I'm not arguing that we aren't struggling some with our DL recruitment, but it isn't like our coaches just forgot how to recruit. There is a very real reason behind it.
Yup! We are already in the top 2 or 3 for a number of 2016 DL kids. If we don't close the deal on at least a couple of them then I'll worry as there will be no excuses at that point.

While there clearly are negative factors out there, we shouldn't be THIS BAD at recruiting.
As an 'elite' program with 2 NC appearances inside 5 years, multiple 1st round draft picks and a slim depth charter after this year and especially year after that, there should be at least some somewhat big name guys on our radar.

If you'll remember,.. we were in the top 2 or 3 for a number of the 2015 kids last year. At one point, there were people on here beating their chests, thinking we may actually land TT AND Payne! It's absurd to act like CRG just started recruiting these kids this year, and is "behind". You dont think he recruited Thompson or Payne, or any of the other highly recruited DT's when he was at UGA? I understand the scheme is different, but those 2 could have played in either. He DEF recruited them before... and he has DEF fallen behind on the DT recruiting this year, no matter how you want to spin it
