The passing of the night
My seven years in the Hanoi Hilton
By Col Robinson Risner
Eta this is a great book not only about the war and politics of it but also about the human spirit and some amazingly brave and honorable people.

If you are fan of anything Zombie related/Sci-fi stuff I would suggest World War Z.
I also heard about some subreddit about 52 books for 52 weeks. You could probably find a lot of good suggestions there.

How was World War Z the book in comparison to the movie?

On a scale from To Kill a Mockingbird to Crime and Punishment, what do you want?

1,000,000 times better. They literally share like zero similarities. I'm extremely happy I watched the movie first, because reading the book first would have ruined it.

We are reading it now (10th grade) in English. I mean it's okay it just doesn't get your attention quickly. I like the Christ symbolism

That's good to hear. I enjoyed the movie so perhaps I'd enjoy the book too.

I know what happens....
I spark noted and it and by the grace of God I made an 83 on the 100 question quiz we had on the first day. We have to write a 3 page paper on it Monday so I'm reading it now.
