Miles didn't exactly stand by him.

He was too scared of the reaction he'd get by reinstating Hill so he let the team "vote" on it

i love when other fans try to tell LSU fans shite about LSU that they have no clue about and as a result make themselves look borderline retarded

Well aren't you the little fountain of information. Since you sat in on the meeting - tell us more. Unless you are completely full of shite.

It is really not that difficult to understand. Hill talks to Miles, Miles accepts his apology and story then says that he can continue on the team as long as the team is in agreement. Miles could have said no at that time, but did not and allowed it to go to a team vote. He then lets the team have their say, and they say yes.

Makes perfect sense and he did not force a player back on a team that may have felt differently. Brilliant move!

Miles knew damn well that a team of his peers would not end Jeremy Hill's career for a bar fight. Half of them have probably been in a few bar fights of their own. And Miles doesn't take the heat for the reinstatement. When will you people realize that Miles is a lot smarter than he projects himself in front of a camera or a microphone?
