I'm still a bit confused as to the nuances of each of the WR positions.

I'm not totally qualified to answer but here's my take.
RSJ plays the Evans role
Quiv is the frick to RSJ's frack
Speedy is the Swopes guy with an added advantage of being a runner as well
That's all I feel qualified to expound on and I'm in no way saying I am anywhere close to being correct

I heard a clip of RSJ talking to the Sealy radio guys during one of their basketball games, and he indicated that he's more of a slot receiver than out on the edge like Evans. Maybe that will change now that Mike is gone, but just something to think about I guess

tmc did a solid write up on each WR position and what the staff looks for in each one a while ago. I think he posted it in a thread I started a bit ago

I would think Frank fits into Evans spot better. RSJ is quicker.

Sumlin's history is that first year players learn one and only one position. After they show proficiency they move around. Labhart's ability to pick up all four position was a big factor in his playing time early (and then production forced him in)
RSJ started at the Y. He may stay there. But I'll be a little surprised if he doesn't learn at least one of the outside spots in the spring. Getting guys accustomed to multiple positions allows you to get the best four on the field and also to exploit matchups.

I will say I'm really excited to see what wrinkles we add in for Speedy. I'm assuming he doesn't redshirt next year and gets on the field quite a bit from the get go

By this I ment the go to guy on the gotta have pass. I watched the kid play some at Sealy and he really is a beast.

5*'s rarely redshirt so it would be more than shocking for it to happen to a WR that enrolls early. RSJ came into a roster with a couple of returning starters and entering in the fall. He still was making waves by the end of camp. Speedy is more electric even and comes in to a situation where at least 3 spots are up for grabs. He will almost certainly start next year imo.

Where would you classify each receiver (both on campus and soon to be on campus)?

That still only answers where a few of the receivers are best suited.
From my limited knowledge: (alphabetical order)
Z: Iheanacho, Parker, Pope
Y: Noil, Reynolds, Seals-Jones
H: Gonzalez, Holmes, Tabuyo
X: Jeffery, Larue, Williams

swope has a better 40 than speedy

It almost doesn't matter. I would never had said RSJ was best suited for Y because he's nothing like previous Y's in this offense. We clearly had some new thoughts in mind. The Jet Sweep concepts were explored to maximize Tavon Austin's skillset. Seemed okay. La Tech's Big Bone is another example.
This offense is just far less rigid than most others because the people running it are a little bit off (in a good way imo). I laid out the traditional skill set but honestly if we decided our 4 best receivers were Nacho, Parker, Pope and RSJ, we might just run an alley-oop offense.

Yeah but what about the shuffle and other drills?
