That would be an epic coaching blunder. I have a hard time believing Jimbo wouldn't amend the calls with a former coach on the opposing sideline.

This, it is ludicrous to think they wouldn't change them. I think FSU is using it as an excuse as to why they got throttled the first half. Not a big deal even if it was true, but I don't believe it.

If anything, if I am Fisher I use the same signals, but make them mean a different play than what Craig would know. Use it against him.

FSU should have changed their plays over the offseason, but really they only had to worry about playing AU and what were the chances they'd get matched up with AU in a bowl game?

I doubt a month before the bowl game is enough time to change everything up.

I think the OP nailed it. And I do believe Malzhan choked in the 3rd quarter with his playcalling.

And, whether signals were stolen or not, we were led to believe that FSU had vastly superior athletes. The players had to go out and execute. DB's still had to cover those ridiculous receivers and the D-line still had to actually get to Winston.

And if Jimbo allowed signals to be stolen with all those weeks to prepare, well, that's just not something I would EVER admit. JV coaches don't allow shite like that to happen.

It's an excuse for why they got whipped in the first half. Bottom line.
