Derrick Henry, does he have a lot of mileage on him already?

We all know how he carried the ball like 1400 times in HS, but I found some time to read some other sites talking about him and some guys think he'll break down before he can get a steady NFL career going because he's already touched it so much and would be a workhorse for us.
I don't seem to recall him actually getting hit a lot in HS, and he doesn't even really run over people as much as he runs through them and around/past them, so do you think we should ever worry about how many touches he gets in fear that he breaks down. I don't know how many he'll get next year because I foresee a 3 man rotation, but the year after that Yeldon/Drake will be gone. I'm sure Tenpenny or Jones or someone will obviously step up to share carries with him, but still.

I really don't care how they do after they leave UA, so I say we do what we have to do. He carried the ball way too much in high school, but he was literally the biggest person on the field.

Maybe it's just because of how big he is, but it looks like he's trucking little dudes in his HS highlight videos. Does that really put wear and tear on a big dude like Henry? He'll be splitting carries with Yeldon and Drake and the other dude's from his class anyways.

Yeah...I don't think it even matters. He was in HS.....he never got his clock cleaned. Now if he had that many carries in college it would be a different story obviously.

We have too many talented backs for him to be the workhorse. He should lead the team in carries but rank middle of the league in carries

With mileage comes experince. And didn't he go to a small high school? Weak competition would not hurt much. It's basically like extra practice for him. No worries.

As much as we all hate it, I think he was well rested this year. The guy played great when he got his chance. He should be really ready next year. I can't wait!!

And didn't he go to a small high school?

I've heard that henry is really dedicated to training his body. When he first got to campus he freaked his roommates out with all the sit ups and push ups he did on a daily basis. I don't think we have to worry about his mileage just yet

I think "mileage" put on a human being as young as him shouldn't even be a thing. It doesn't exists...JMO.
