re: Why do players, coaches and personnel give so much info away to media days?

In the past, media coverage consisted of a couple of old dudes who chained smoked in a room for 20 minutes with coach. They then pounded out a few lines on a typewriter.


Now, 24/7 sports channels, twitter, and sites like the one we are on have changed the nature of media coverage.
