Why? Because the voters hate LSU? Is that it?
LSU would have deserved the same treatment as Alabama. LSU dominated Oregon in the season opener, and had a much stronger schedule. Plus Oregon lost another game. Stanford couldn't stay on the field with Oregon and lost their division and conference while playing a weaker schedule. LSU's victories with a loss to #1 Alabama >>> Oklahoma State's victories with a loss to unranked Iowa State.
