Last day of family being up here so we're gonna drive up to the base where they're staying if the whether cooperates. Been a lot of fun.

Fine...nasty nasty weather out here this morning
The last couple days been a warm front so its been like 76 - 78 degrees and brought this nasty weather with it.
I'm gonna be buckled down next week at work, they give us double time for like 4 out of the 5 days (off Christmas Day and Sunday) and OT has been approved so I'm gonna go in early we calculated it (gives you 8 hrs extra each holiday so 32 extra added to the 50 - 52 gonna be a crazy check
can't wait

Get that paper, mayne! Wish I had that option so I could spoil Mrs. T some more. Uncle Sam hooked me up with convalescent leave, though, so even though I'm not getting any extra, I'm getting some extra time with the fam, so I can't complain.

That's the only thing....still trying to set up some kind of vaca in Jan or Feb like a cruise maybe or a trip to Jamaica...got some connects down there that can set us up for a week or a couple weeks pretty cheap, lived there for 6 months.
We went to Disney last month but tbh we were so chaotic with trying to round up kids etc it wasn't a vaca to me lol

So I layed out 6 points in a rather lengthy post last night on the CC board about why I think Texas should throw all they got at Jimbo regardless of the NCG
And all I got in response was 1 serious discussion post and it even ended with "Saban's going to Texas"
What the hell am I missing? Are they all truly that delusional?

yesterday it was 77-78 in TTown. I had to take off my long sleeve shirt and I was still sweating when I went into the stores..
It's back down to 55 now.
eta: I got 4 checks on friday from work. Regular paycheck plus an extra 38 hours of OT, Vacation Check, 32 hour check for end of that partial week and then a bonus check that was about what I'd normally make for a month and a half.
All I could think of was hookers and blow.

Next 2 days gonna suck.
I gotta fly back to MN tonight to drive all my stuff back down.
Pulling a small uhaul behind my Ford Fusion all the way to Nashville.
Gonna take nearly 15 hours and I gotta do it in one day because I have Christmas plans on Christmas Eve with the SO.
