Is Shaw draftable? I know that I have heard he will be looking for employment somewhere in the military, but I mean he made HUGE strides this season. 2012 Shaw and 2013 Shaw are way different.
He is playing in the Senior Bowl. In front of every NFL team's scouts. Could we see him drafted?

Yes, but he still has 2 games, an NFL workout and possibly the NFL Combine to prove it.
If he finishes strong, I think he will be drafted, but not until a late round. If he isn't drafted, I wouldn't be surprised to see that he get's a UFA offer from some team as a minimum.
Basically, I'm looking for him to have a monster game against Wisc, then make some plays at the Sr Bowl (he won't play more than a quarter though.) Next, he'l have to do well for the scouts at the Gamecock NFL workout and hopefully he gets an invite to the NFL Combine. If he ends up getting that invite to the NFL Combine, I'll feel much better about his chances.

He could be drafted in the later rounds if he balls out in our bowl game, and puts up good numbers in the NFL combine. I think with more and more NFL teams wanting to have a mobile QB it helps his chances.

That's a big part of this, agreed. The game is changing, more Pro Teams are running the zone read. So they need QB's on their roster who can run it for them, or on their practice squad who they can use to prepare their defense.
The minimum NFL salary for an Active roster player is $405,000.
The minimum NFL salary for a practice squad player is $6000 a week, so if they are on the squad the whole year it's worth $102,000.

I have a little bit if true insider insight into Shaw and how things will probably work-out for him.
First of all, I know his comments about the military were secondary in nature, a back-up plan if you will. And I personally am trying to talk him into considering the Army, one of the special units like the 82nd, the Rangers, or SOG. But whatever he decides in that regard, even if it is the Marines, that is his backup plan.
Connor is a realist. He's going to give the NFL a solid shot and he has a chance to be drafted, but more than likely is looking at being picked-up as a Free Agent.
Connor's major draw-back in the eyes of NFL Scouts is his lack of NFL level arm strength. That's it, plain and simple and he's been told that. He's worked on it a great deal, but still.
Scouts love his intangibles, his knowledge of the game, his winning attitude and leadership skills, his work ethic and lifestyle. They love his scrambling ability, but his arm strength is a major drawback in their eyes and that is going to be really tough to overcome. If anyone can do it, if anyone can make a roster given his situation, then he can.
Also, there is some question about his height. He's probably closer to 6'0" even than 6'1", although he plays taller it would still be drawback in the NFL in most systems, not all mind you but most systems. And he's been a little bit injury prone. That is a concern for some as well.
Spurrier is going to be talking him up to scouts and Connor is going to get his shot in the combines, we shall see ... we're sure pulling for him.

I'm wondering if he has a future in the NFL but just not at QB? He has decent wheels and a grittiness that could see him excel. I just don't think he has an NFL arm. I could be very wrong, but him at another position just makes more sense to me. Otherwise I don't think he would see that much of the field.

He's not going to be a WR ... I had to laugh at some commentator I heard saying that the other day.
Is there another position he might play? If so, what might it be?

6th/7th round pick or a UFA most likely. Arm strength is probably his biggest weakness and why he'll be that far down the board for most if not all teams.
