Somethings just not right with Richardson. Maybe its mental, maybe he has some nagging injuries. I would never have expected him to do so poorly this year. His rookie season was not bad by any stretch and to see him do a lot worse this year is very odd.
Might just be something none of us know. Family issues and not being able to focus. He is a physical specimen and will eventually get through his problems and become the back he should be in the NFL.

Ingram had good vision and a great first step. To be effective, he has to get into the flow of the game and learn how the DL / LB play off of blocks. Gets better as the game goes.
TRich had power and pretty good speed but lacks vision. He has to learn how his blockers work then play off of them rather than reading the DL / LB. Changing teams mid season completely screwed up his ability to know where his blockers would be. Should do better next year if he can keep the body blows down to stay healthy.
Lacy had great vision and was better at not absorbing full impact. Not a great first step but good top end speed for his size. Does not run with as wide a base as either Ingram or TRich but uses his spin and the inertia of the tackler for radical dirrection changes rather than the horizontal cuts Ingram uses.
Ingram needs lots of carries in a game to get rolling. TRich needs time with the line to learn where to run. Lacy just needs the ball and his ankles to be stable enough to avoid the big hits.

TR3 can't run over people in the NFL unless he hits space, to hit space you gotta have moves and balance. I rarley have seen TR3 stay up if someone hits his ankles = bad balance, and he just doesn't have the ability to move/ adjust of a hole closes ( at Bama the hole was always there.
Lacy can shift and slide ( Notre Dame game where he made people miss at the line all night) and a good NFL back has to have this ability, big holes are rare in the NFL.
