For everything right about AJ, he wasn't worthy of the Heisman.

Is this really an issue in Alabama (the state)? He didn't have a chance of winning but he has 'Heisman Invitee' on the resume, which is an honor well earned. He'll probably finish 37-3 (?), has conducted himself well, with no controversies attached to his name. You guys won, are conference champions, with a shot at the NC. What's the big deal, seriously?

I'm pretty sure this is not an issue at all. Most rational people understand AJ didn't have a chance to win the award, but was deserving of an invite. Unfortunately, OP doesn't fall into the rational category.
