Left tackle. Looks like we agreed not to redshirt him. I hope that pans out.

Top NCAA offenses

Looking at this, but I don't see an OC in the top 20 that runs the offense. I don't want an "OC that was babysat by the HC and is the product of a great QB who they did not develop because they were the freaking WR coach"(Pease) again.

Frick it.

I went with Philip Montgomery so far. I will probably change my mind.

Even if it is Briles offense, Montgomery has done a great job developing college QBs. "has mentored several award-winning quarterbacks: Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III, Baylor All-American Nick Florence, Conference USA MVP Kevin Kolb and Houston standout Case Keenum."

The Baylor OC isn't coming here. I've never seen his name even mentioned.

Would you mind editing "Moral Stephens" into the title of the thread as well?

It is still who I would go after a little bit of thought

Weis's name was never mentioned until it happened. UF's Athletic Department can lock info when they need to like nobody else.

Edit: Out of the reported candidates I think its going to be Helton for all of the reasons Andreu mentioned in his article.

If UF needs TEs that can block and catch why does UF keep offering 200 lb TEs?

Even though this kid is listed at 225, I believe he is going to be a pleasant suprise for the Gators.

Same reason we offer and sign LBs who are 205-215 in high school...they are faster and we put them through weight training and try to make sure speed doesn't demenish. We sign McCallister who is about 6'6 and weighs about 220 from what I saw on the sidelines during Arkansas game...but he was thrusted into Ga Southern game from necessity and wasted a year. He needs 35-50 lbs added.
