Hey guys booked the hotel they stayed at for the 11 championship. Anyone know if they'll be at the same hotel again this year?

Don't know, but Eli tweeted that he was hosting the Hey Coach show that week from the Hilton, which is where they stayed for the Sugar Bowl vs Utah.

Ute was Marriott Riverview I think.

That was the NCG vs LSU. Utah game both the team and MDB stayed at the Hilton (I was in MDB at the time).

Home team is the Hilton Riverside, Away team is the Marriott on Canal. I think we're the home team

We are. I guess that settles it. Nice hotel, right across from Harrah's. Hope the players don't pull a Jordan Jefferson

The Hilton is fully booked, at least on New Year's eve. Anyone got any other good suggestions?

Any place on Canal. I (well, my mom) actually got a room in the Hilton the morning after the SECCG, before we were announced for the Sugar.
The Loewe's is nice, it's on Poydras. Either way, I recommend something in the downtown area. It's really close to FQ without being loud, and it's closer to the Superdome.

Only New Orleans hotels I have stayed at were the Riverside Hilton, Holiday Inn French Quarter (It's a Wyndham now), and the airport Hilton. All were great, but the airport one is like 20 minutes from downtown.

Country Inn & Suites on Magazine is good, pretty close to the Dome and the Quarter. And in high school when the Saints played MNF me and the old man would stay at the Comfort Inn on Baronne so we didn't have to go all the way home after the game. Not a bad option if your only in the room for a night
