No D, Manziel injury, blatant horsecollar no call in front of official as we were driving into red zone after moving ball at will and would have had multiple timeouts and 45 sec or so left. I was pretty drunk and angry/depressed so things could be a bit fuzzy.

I was stone-cold sober, and that's exactly how I remembered it.

Taking each factor individually:

1. Horse Collar -- It would have been a break in our favor. Not getting the call was simply the lack of a break. The guy still made the tackle and JFF was well short of the 1st down marker. That one factor alone is not so game-changing that it can be even considered "the" reason A&M lost.

2. JFF Injury -- That was clearly a factor. A backup QB has to come into a shoot-out. No reasonable person can deny that it was a very big factor and cost A&M some points. JFF after returning was not the same. He didn't have the same accuracy or zip on the ball. Still, when he went down, we were up 34-24. When he came back in the game, Auburn was up 38-34. JFF may have scored to keep us ahead, but Auburn would have been seriously closing the gap.

3. No Defense -- There is positively NO EXCUSE for losing a game where your offense scores 41 points. None. Zero. Nada. Why even field a defense?

The 4th Quarter Box Score says it all:
#24 AUB 21
#7 TA&M 10

#3 was the reason we lost to Auburn.....AND IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!
