This is why this discussion is pointless. Athletic department revenue is what we should be using as a metric

But if we're talking a 3 million dollar difference, one booster would just buy that many t-shirts.

Or hell, just raise ticket prices $10. 7 home games + 102,000 tickets per game. That's seven million. Extra. Per year. Done.

Eta: I realize there is split revenue. Just illustrating a point. Bama is not gonna lose out because of a few million dollars per year

You have to factor in who has the most OT baller boosters also. I figure UT has a gaggle just drenched in oil money.
