Not that this is a good thing, but we are fricking football crazy. There is very little that we would not do to have the best program around, if it is within our reach. Every Bama fan in the state would tithe their discretionary income if it meant us keeping Saban.

This is why this discussion is pointless. Athletic department revenue is what we should be using as a metric

But the money has to be on the table now. Bama wasnt expecting this. Horns have been on it for about a year
