To the few idiots who believe drunk people can legally consent to sex, you are so wrong. I think the law can be silly, but LEGALLY, a drunk person cannot consent to sex. You don't have to like, or even believe it, but that doesn't stop it from being the truth.
Quit calling other people idiots when you clearly don't know what you are talking about.

seeing as she wasn't tested until much later
She was tested just a few hours after the alleged incident and out can easily be calculated what her bac was at the time of the incident.

I wish you people would stop commenting on this case until you read through all of the evidence that was released. Anyone with a brain and no bias would conclude the accuser's sorry was completely unreliable.

I agree - there were holes in her memory, and they didn't think they could get a conviction with the evidence they had. Doesn't mean she made it up though. They estimated she would have been legally drunk at the time of the incident. There are date rape drugs that leave your system very rapidly and may notika rape shown up. But she reported it right away, went to the hospital and called her parents. And she didn't know who it was until she recognized him the next month. That's not someone who made the whole thing up.

My guess is someone is getting sued - likely a bunch of people. Winston, TPD, the detective, etc. She's announcing before the Heisman ceremony because his attorney smeared her.

ETA - And her friend wouldn't have called the police and her parents without her consent.
