what has history proven otherwise? that ole miss was at a disadvantage the minute the SEC integrated and haven't won anything of significance since? i think 60 years of history is pretty telling to most as to what is to be realistically expected for the future. Ole Miss won't always be bad, but they'll never be consistently good for any extended period of time either. It's just not realistic with the resources they have to work with in comparison to other members of the conference. They'll have good seasons here and there but that's about it, and there's nothing wrong with that.
