Yeah. It's not like we've ever done it before or anything

I mean y'all have only seriously competed for the west title once since the SEC formed divisions. The closest Ole Miss has come other than 2003 was:
1992: finished 2nd at 5-3 behind 8-0 Alabama
2001: finished 2nd at 4-4 behind 5-3 LSU
2008: finished 2nd at 5-3 behind 8-0 Alabama

So I guess, y'all have seriously competed for a West title once in the 22 years of the SEC title game. However, Ole Miss has finished with a losing SEC record in 13 of 22 seasons and have won 2 or fewer SEC games in 7 of 22 seasons. Overall Ole Miss is 67-105 in the SEC since 1992 (average just about 3 SEC wins a season). Shockingly, David Cutcliff, is the only coach with a winning SEC record in the divisional era, and the same guy just took Duke, yes Duke, to their first 10 win season and first back-to-back bowl game appearances in school history. Someone from Ole Miss, as I can't remember anymore, why did you fire Cutcliff? I remember there being something more to it than just having a bad one season post Eli Manning. Guy is a class act and obviously knows how to coach with what he was able to do as a coordinator at UT for years,as well as his success at Ole Miss and now at Duke
