Might as well delete this thread guys.

"Lucky" on BOL says that all of these rumors are just that because Texas is scrambling and is using the media to make it look like what's going on is serious.

There is no way Saban goes anywhere. Even doubling his salary. Alabama is the place he wants to be and everyone else in the college football world wants to be.

Just a recruiting note as well. BOL basically said that Tony Brown would have committed to Alabama by now if his sister wasn't at LSU.

take all that fwiw.

Wow, twist words much? BOL said it was a slim chance he ends up anywhere other than BR. They cited his sister as one of the reasons...just like the Lsurb has done hundreds of times

How do we know he still wants to be there?

Saban could view Bama as just another stepping stone because if he does it again in Austin the man becomes immortal becoming undoubtedly the greatest college coach ever. I mean, in many people's eyes he is already. When you look at Texas it's another sleeping giant with deep pockets. If Saban passes on moving to Austin then he is probably going to finish his career at Bama.

My feeling is that Saban has accomplished everything he really wanted to at Bama. He isn't the guy that stays for 10 years at one school. The move just makes so much sense on the surface.
