If A&M is "normal" then we have the 2nd most Conference Titles of any school in the SEC. I guess I can live with that. Most SEC folks seem to think "normal" is what happened in the Fran/Sherman era which is our worst period of football since we allowed women to attend.
That said, a lot will depend on what they do in the NFL honestly. Look at a guy like Eric Crouch. He an amazing college QB that won a Heisman but no one remembers now. Look at Gino Toretta. They won Heismans but everyone credits it to the teams they played on. In the end that NFL career makes a huge difference in how they are viewed.
Manziel is certainly the sexier choice. His highlight reel could go on for 30 minutes for his career while AJ's would be about 3 (if you don't count celebrations holding a trophy). In terms of career accomplishments it isn't a discussion.
Manziel's legacy is tarnished a bit if he does leave (which I fully expect) because of how he ended. It looks like a lot of that was being hurt (especially with his thumb) but in the end that's the breaks. Kind of sucks for AJ that he had one of his most heroic performances against Auburn and it will only be a footnote for obvious reasons.
Who knows?

I'll remember AJ ...
*leading Bama back to beat LSU
*leading Bama back to beat AU
*crushing ND in a Natty
*beating LSU in a Natty
*having almost as many Natty rings as loses
Last time I checked - a QB is the LEADER of the TEAM...I would want AJ a many times over any other QB out there...he defines a leader on the field!! imo
That's what will be most remembered about him when he is gone!
