LSU is the only team we play in November that has been consistently ranked in that time. Auburn has had 3 weak teams and 2 great teams. It's not rocket science. We win pretty much every game and we occasionally lose to top ten teams. Why obsess over November? Add December and you get to more top 5 wins. I understand leaving out January.
The vast majority of our losses come against top ten teams coming off byes.
2010 SC, LSU, AU all had byes
2011 LSU bye the previous week
2012 Texas A&M bye the previous week
2013 Auburn bye the previous week
I do not know all the teams final rankings, but they were all dang good teams.
It makes sense it is harder to make teams quit with fresh legs.
