This is not completely true. While there are many ku fans, they do not dominate the kansas side, either. Just as an example, I live in Johnson County and in my subdivision, there are all sorts of colleges represented. Going by flags, decorative stones, car plates, etc. at each house, within a two block radius of my house there are as many Mizzou homes as ku homes and ksu, isu and nu follow close behind and throughout the subdivision there are plenty of homes touting UGA, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Iowa.

Maybe ku fans dominate the poorer parts of kansas. I couldn't comment on that.

Agreed. I used to live in Prairie Village before moving to the much better MO suburbs and it was very evenly distributed between Mizzou and kU. I would say the k-Staters tend to live away from the city in Olathe, Shawnee and Lenexa.

We used to live in Leawood, KS; and while many fan bases were represented, kU had the most. I taught middle level students and had fun wearing my Mizzou apparel. My of students had a father in the sporting goods business. He gave me a black t-shirt with 7 gold paw prints with block M. It reads: I Live in Kansas But I ain't One. Still wear it when I want to shock Wichitians!
