It was just a helluva coaching job by coach Chavis. The d-line was coached to stay in their lanes and not be over aggressive. They kept pushing Jonny to his left and the DBs were coached to be physical with Evans to get in his head and throw the timing off. A&M might have had an "off" night but the LSU defense had a whole lot to do with that. They took away everything that made their offense click and kept possession of the ball to keep Manziel from ever getting into a groove.
