Answered in another thread, but: Bama players are so disciplined that when a play breaks down and JFF has to make something happen, it throws off the Bama D. LSUs defense plays more fluid and can adjust to adlib plays better. Hell, most of their defensive plays seem ad-libbed.

I think it was more mental than anything scheme-wise. LSU pushed our offense around and made them their bitch.
