quote:

AJ McCarron (2011 - RS Soph)
Record: 9-1

The one loss was by 3 in OT to #2 ranked LSU that is, arguably, the most talented team in that school's history.

Nick Marshall (2013 - JR)
Record: 9-1

The one loss was by 14 to an LSU team that may very well finish the season unranked.

It was said earlier and it is completely true; as a pocket passer you say AJ all day long. As a dual threat QB you say NM all day long.

well, one guy score 6 points and had a critical turnover that cost his team the game... and the other scored 21 points on the road... you're right, there is no comparison bewteen LSU's 2011 defense and their 2013 defense.... but at the same time, there is no comparison between 6 points and 21 points.

i'd call it a push.
