Then I hope he's prepared to be second fiddle for the rest of his life. Dude needs to cut the chord with Saban. If he wants an easy success job, go to Marshall or some lower level school and toil around for a few years before moving up. If Nebraska offers, he'd be a fool to decline.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, BUT do play devils advocate..he may be leery of what happened with muschamp. They both had similar DC backgrounds, then muschamp gets the keys to a new ferrari and 3 years later is in danger of being fired and nobody in the fanbase likes him. Kirby might not want that much pressure off the bat.
But like I said, if nebraska offers he should take it immediately.
