Nebraska ain't what it used to be... but college football is cyclical. It will never be mid-90's Nebraska again, the landscape has changed. BUT, they could be a decent program again.
It would take a great recruiter to get it done. Smart would be a splash hire, that's for sure. The fact that hiring a DC from the SEC with no HC experience would be a splash hire is pretty telling, however.
