I know transitive property is supposed to be the devil but with the amount of common opponents it is a fair assessment. Plus I would rather have Alabama face 5 Tre Masons than 1 Manziel.
Someone brought that up on WJOX a week or two ago and also claimed that if you did the same for Bama/LSU in 2011 the point differential was only 3pts. I haven't checked that fact, but it is pretty eye opening if true.
