Good time to be a Carolina Panthers Fan for those that are, congratz on the win. Very impressed and you'll definitely challenge Who Dat Nation for the NFC South.

As long as Cam Newton is there, I'm forced to be the anti-Panther.

Exciting game last night.
Saints fans were, ahem, rustled to say the least on the MSB last night.

Don't mind rooster. He'd be anti-Panthers anyway because of his Clemson conspiracy theory.

I didn't like him at all when he was at Auburn, for obvious reasons. But he's growing on me in the NFL, he looks to be taking on a stronger leadership role and the team is developing around him. I also thought it was really cool that he looks for a kid to give a football too when the Panthers score a TD.

it was $180,000 in donations to his dad's church.

WTF are you talking about? You don't know me and wtf is this Clemson conspiracy you speak of? I've been to a ton of games up there, even been a fan when they had Sam Mills, Travelled Wharton, Captain Munnerlyn, et al. But Cam Newton ... nope. Same reason I quit being a fan of the Skins while Haynesworth was there.

I remember you saying on here how you didn't like the Panthers because they played at Clemson in their first season. Is that not true?
But seriously, why do you hate Cam so much? He hasn't done anything wrong and gets paid legally now.
I'm glad he's a Panther. That scramble Monday night is why he's a once in a generation talent and only getting better. No other QB in the league could have made that play.

I don't "hate" Cam Newton. I dislike him because he is dishonest, a manipulator and a wannabe thug.
Clemson and the Panthers have a connection - there is no denying it. I know what went-on back in the Richardson-McGee negotiations and the threat they hung over our heads about Clemson was a mistake on their part. I thought Mike McGee handled it with class.
I think the Richardson brothers, especially, were very pro Clemson and I get the fact that their Dad didn't want them saying some of the things they were saying on the circuit - and in the end they fought until the day one of them died and their Dad took both of them out of the equation ... but the fact remained, they handed us a losing proposition and McGee turned it down and it is what it is ... or was what it was.
A lot of Richardson money still goes to Clemson (and Winthrop) and I get that but I'm not going to overlook that fact - even though I have been a fan of theirs in the past, when they had Carolina players on their roster.
Admittedly, I'm also older so I am a Redskins fan first, a Falcons fan second. But there is no conspiracy where Clemson and the Panthers are concerned. The Panthers are a Charlotte, NC ... North Carolina based team and I feel no loyalty to them whatsoever. Whereas, the majority of Clemson fans I know do feel a loyalty towards them because of the Clemson connection.
I feel more of a loyalty to Bob McNair in Houston than I do the Panthers.

Before we get a spinoff into the Panthers Power Battles, we need to finish the story board for The Board Wars Chronicle.

there's no way he'd be voted team captain if any of these overplayed stereotypes are remotely true
