Maybe Georgia fan can use it now?

Tempting fate you say? No, I'm merely accepting the fact that bad shite happens to all fan bases.

From this day forward, I will go through my fandom unprotected and take all kicks in the nuts like a real man.

More of a man than me. I'm still waiting for it. It always comes. I envy you though. The damn things are as uncomfortable as hell.

Welcome to the fold of Mizzou fans with unprotected genitals.

ETA: I should add that mine came off prior to the USC game, so... you know.

I'm not drunk enough to be that philosophical.

Garfield, there is a running joke with Mizzou fans (well, the male fans, at least) that they should always have their nut cups firmly in place. Because, as all Mizzou fans know, just when things seem to be going the right way? That unexpected kick in the nuts is gonna get you.

This ceremonial shedding of the cup is a big deal. It seems that perhaps Georgia fans need them worse than Mizzou fans - at least this year. But, they could be needed again this weekend. Hopefully not, but we're Mizzou fans. You just never know.

I was too drunk (or too stupid) and missed the joke.

Congrats -

I usually just cross my legs if it's tight in the fourth (aka switching from beer to liquor).

You will regret this.

As an OM fan, I can definitely relate to this sentiment. We don't have the phrase WAOM for nothing.

I know these next two games have bigger implications for your team, but if we could win out and go to a good bowl, resulting in a 10 win season, I can't tell you how elated I would be. To have that type of season just two years out from the Nutt dumpster fire would be amazing.

As semo has said she has cheered for Ole Miss every game except for the upcoming one, I have done the same for y'all.

I do have to say your defensive line scares me though. I just want it to be a good game, and our team play to the best of its' ability. See y'all down in Oxford!

I regret nothing!

I think this whole waiting for the other shoe to drop shite is stupid.

It's like when I was a kid, sneaking a peak at pron, but being paranoid that my parents would catch me. I just never got to really fully enjoy that shite.

I refuse to go through life like a Cubs fan. If I sit around waiting for the kick in the nuts, I'll miss out on the fun of these next games.

It could be epic, it could be depressing as hell, either way I'm gonna drink beer and enjoy every minute of it.

Cub fans don't live with cups, they just expect it and start preparing halfway through.

Now you're acting like a Cubs fan.

Easy big eagle.
Explain the SC game if the other shoe does not exist.

That's just it.

The SC game sucked, but who here thought Mizzou would be undefeated going into it?

No one.

It could be much worse.

While I'll grant you, I really want to win the East, and I honestly think we should. I didn't expect any of this. I picked this team at 6-6. So, I'm happy no matter how this turns out.

I just want to enjoy the next game, which could lead us to an even bigger game the next week, which would lead to an even bigger game, which could lead to an erection that would last more than 4 hours.

It's like we're the wildcard and the playoffs start this week. We're good, but no one expects us to win. I've seen this before from another sports team I follow, and it's worked out well.

Sit back and enjoy the ride folks.
