Being an AU fan and living a good distance away from the state of Alabama has its perks.

The enthusiasm of a "War Eagle" is usually much greater given the low fan density.

And when you do come in for a game, you're finally surrounded by fellow fans again. It makes campus feel like the happiest place on earth.

Well said and very true. One of my friends just called and said he is kind of depressed. He had so much fun last week-end that he doesn't know how he can ever experience something that awesome again.
