Supposedly, according to other UF boards I read, DFS was UF's best player. Chris Harry believes Wilbekin is UF's best player.

Should be interesting.

Harris and Wilbekin are still not cleared to rejoin the team. Hopefully, UF will have everyone back for the murderous 3 game stretch in December:

vs. Memphis

Harris is currently "off the team" and working out with staff members only. Sounds like he'll be out for awhile.

Wilbekin has been doing what he needs to do and should be back soon as long as he doesn't screw up again.

I think Wilbekin is our best player overall. DFS is probably our most gifted scorer.

I sure hope so, cause this team is struggling to find an offensive identity

Pat Young just kills me with his low iq play on both ends. How is he screwing up locking down the paint against ualr in a 2-3 zone?

We have 7 steals & 3 blocks.....and we're tied with Little Rock at half

Rebounds & FTs killing us

Kurtz should get more minutes

We're playing Devon Walker at the 2 right now. Our main lineup right now just can't shoot. At all. No spacing for slashers.

DFS is showing off his offensive talent. He'll be in the starting lineup somewhere (SF or PF) before the season is over. Wilbekin will help tremendously with shooting when he gets back as well. Carter is still extremely gimpy. Frazier is having an off game.

We're not very good right now, but we'll be fine.

Wouldn't be surprised if our frontcourt starting line-up looks like this for much of the year....

5 - Yuegette
4 - DFS
3 - Prather

PY needs to step his game up

On a side note, is the "left right left right left right.....SIT DOWN" chant new this year?

This SHOULD be the starting lineup:

Hill
Frazier
DoeDoe
Yeguete
Young

DoeDoe showing today that he can knock down the 3 is a HUGE factor for our offense.

Haven't had a 3 since Parsons who could nail treys.

Young hasn't played badly today. I don't think he's in danger of losing his starting position. The only other true center on the roster is Harris, and it sounds like he'll be out for awhile.

I'm not sure what our starting lineup will be, but we have eight guys who could all reasonably start. Nine when Walker gets on campus.

Hill
Wilbekin
Frazier
Carter
Prather
DFS
Yeguete
Walker
Young

I'd be fairly surprised if Wilbekin doesn't work his way back into the starting lineup, but we'll see.

A three guard lineup is a possibility:

Hill
Wilbekin
Frazier
DFS
Young

With Prather and Yeguete as the first guys off the bench.

My post was under the assumption that that lineup should start until Scottie comes back.

And I don't really like the 3 guard lineup at this point.

Hill, Frazier, and Young have all struggled defensively so far.

IMO BD should go with a traditional lineup.

those are 2 very good, high energy guys (seniors) to have coming off our bench

The frontcourt with Yeguete and Young is pretty brutal offensively, though. Absolutely no spacing.
