The US has tried to help Africa with billions of dollars in food and aid. They cannot be helped.

How many more alters are you gonna make? You make a new one every time that you make an arse of yourself. Why not just man up?

I won't post my little town's pitiful stats, but if it's accurate, I must literally know every single person in town with a college degree.

17% ????

And I have a Master's - curious how low that is here.

Give a man a fish, he'll always rely on the handout. Teach a man to fish, and he feeds himself. Food aid is a bit bogus. Especially since we give them food from our poor diet, that causes further disease because they're not used to the processed foods. I do like that we've started the concept of planting for them instead of dropping peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from the sky. The Moringa Tree is full of everything man needs to live, the new fad in helping over there consists of planting this magical tree. Also, you can't say that Africa can't be helped, that continent has been stripped of human and natural resources for thousands of years all the while under extreme oppression.
