The point is the power to pull a coach from Bama. Not the result.
Can you understand that? Its a singular point that proves A&M can and has not only kept a coach from a traditional power, but taken a coach from a traditional power.

Again, how does any of that prove Sumlin won't leave? How is it even relevant?
We took a coach looking to bail from a school that was about to be hit hard with sanctions. The scenario was a perfect storm that allowed us to do it. Whether Bama wanted to keep him or not isn't significant, because we was dying to get ut before he got hammered. He was looking into the freaking Kansas job the year prior.
