Many 1st year QB's have had great success in the SEC lately. There a few reasons for that, but one of them doesn't get dicussed to much. If at all.... With today's technolgy, the game of football can be studied like never before. It's tough to have multiyear success consecutively in this conference. New QB's tendenies aren't known to well until coaches have the offseason to break them down. The fact AJ McCarron has had 3 years of improvement while being very solid & winning. In a conference with unbelieve coaches, players, and resourches. Speaks volumes about his play.

Maybe one day, some will finally
Give AJ McCarron the credit he deserves

I'll give it to him. AJ's stats don't tell the full story due to the frequent domination of teams and lack of need for the stats to be put up by McCarron BUT he always seems to bring it in the big games when "bringing it" actually matters. While we are examining JFF as an example this year...how have those gaudy stats helped him in the biggest games he has played this year? Two big whiffs in the loss column! McCarron? Two home runs!

Shouldn't the results of games be a primary stat we use in determining the best player??? I think so.
