I thinks CNS said it best when he said AJ was the best QB. Does what is asked and has delivered year in, year out.

Would Bama be going after BCS NC #4 if AJ was not the qb?

Yeah I know AJ has a great supporting cast and all...but so does JFF. JFF has been bailed out several times by his WR's when JFF would throw passes up for grabs. AJ, not so much.

Besides TAMU has to score points because their D cannot shut down anyone. Hell even a team full of Stevie Wonders could score against TAMU.

There's this odd perception that this happens all the time.

I can only think of two times this has happened. Once against Bama and once against Arkansas. I may be missing one or two, but as far as "wow, what a ridiculous throw that probably should've been picked JFF's lucky there" ... yeah that's happened less than 4 times this year.

People see the same highlights again and again and assume that's all JFF does. If that were true, than he wouldn't be completing 73% of his passes.
